Air Source Heat Pumps, Electric Boilers & Unvented Cylinders

Air source heat pumps will generate electricity to produce hot water for your home. These are worth considering particularly if you are looking to replace an oil boiler.
Air Source heat pumps are particularly suited to new builds or extensions where they can be installed together with underfloor heating to give good all round warmth and with solar PV panels and battery backup to generate the electricity to run the heat pump.
Electric boilers and unvented hot cylinders are a great option when your property has not got gas as an option. We have installed these in a number of properties, one on particular replacing an inefficient and poor to control 1970’s electric heating system where inflexible electric storage heater were replaced with a system including Hive controls to give total heating flexibility to the customer.
